VHCC honors nursing
assistants
Versailles Health Care Center is celebrating National Nursing
Assistants Weeks, June 9th through 16th. During this week,
the many individuals, who serve so faithfully by providing daily
hands-on care to those who are not always able to care for themselves,
are recognized nationwide. These skilled and caring professionals
do all they can to add to the quality and ease of life for patients and
residents and their families, in many various facilities or hospitals
or home environments! Nursing assistants at Versailles Health
Care Center will be honored for their good work with their residents
and patients with special thank you notes and Versailles Poultry Days
chicken dinner tickets.
Dana Spurlock, VHCC Director of Nursing, said “Our State Tested Nursing
Assistants are the foundation upon which we are able to deliver
superior care. They serve as caregiver, friend, family and
confidant to our patients and residents. They have the most
crucial role in the continuum of care for those in need of health care
services. We all are to be forever indebted to each of them for
the care they provide, the love they give and the impact they make.”
