Emerson Brewer Retires from CORS Board
 
The Council on Rural Services wants to take this opportunity to thank Emerson Brewer for serving on our Board of Trustees over the past 16 years.  Emerson joined our board in 2000 and has continued to serve as a client representative from Darke County.

As a non-profit, we rely on our Board of Trustees to guide our organization as we work to make a difference in our community and client’s lives.  Dan Schwanitz CEO said, “We now feel that it is important to put into words the heartfelt thanks for the work that Emerson has given this organization over the years.”

Emerson, has served as a dedicated advocate for the clients, conveyed the community’s concerns and goals while sharing his wisdom, ideas, and enthusiasm in this organization.  We are extremely grateful for your experience, support and your commitment to our organization.  We appreciate your insight in helping move our organization forward.  We celebrate your efforts and dedication to our vision and mission.

At this time of Emerson’s retirement from the Board, on behalf of every CORS employee, members of the Board of Trustees, and the community we say thank you; for your service, your loyalty, your leadership and your guidance.

Council on Rural Services is a local non-profit that provides education and support services through Kids Learning Place™, Head Start, Early Head Start, Gateway Youth Programs, and Achievement Center for Educational Success (ACES) in their nine county service area.
