Looking Back on 2015
My favorite photos
from 2015
By Bob Robinson
Writing is my thing, but even writing can’t elicit the memories that
photos can. I remember writing the story about Corynna Strawser, a
precious 16-year-old who had more courage in her than the vast majority
of us could even hope for. But it didn’t have the impact of a CNO photo
from two years ago of Corynna and her mom Kristi. It was recently a
Facebook Memories photo.
The adage that a picture is worth a thousand words couldn’t be more
true.
As in years past, I’ve been working on my favorite photos from 2015. As
in years past I started with nearly 500. As in years past it has taken
me about three months to trim them down to a modest 280 “favorites.”
Each photo has a specific memory of a specific event. Despite my
seasoned years I can remember taking the photo, where I took it and
what was actually happening when I took it. Great memories.
How about you? If you happened to be out in the community about the
same time I was… enjoying the same event… you might be able to bring
back the same memories.
In fact, you might even find yourself among my favorites. Check them
out in our Community Events Photos Gallery and enjoy.
