MVCTC Students Qualify for HOSA State
Competition
Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC)
students in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Chapter
recently competed at the Regional HOSA Competition and 55 students
qualified to move on to the State Leadership Conference this May at the
University of Toledo.
MVCTC students’ qualifying for the state contest include:
KACIE ABER, an Allied Health student from Northmont High School, placed
5th in the Extemporaneous Health Poster Regional Contest
PAIGE BURRIS, an Allied Health student from Versailles High School,
placed 3rd in the Medical Spelling Regional Contest
HOLLY FLACH, a Sports Medicine student from Dixie High School, placed
2nd in the Emergency Medical Technician Regional Contest
LILLIAN GOFFINET, a Health Careers Academy student from Tippecanoe High
School, placed 4th in the Epidemiology Regional Contest
CORBIN HOBLIT, a Sports Medicine student from National Trail High
School, placed 3rd in the Sports Medicine Regional Contest
ELSA HUFFMAN, an Allied Health student from Dixie High School, placed
3rd in the Extemporaneous Writing Regional Contest
