Pets of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Bella is a 10 month Australian Shepherd mix. She is mostly red and
white with long hair. She is a happy girl who wants to be by your side.
She loves to play and walks well. She is current on her shots and likes
other dogs. She will make a great walking buddy and friend. She is
ready for adoption.
Princess is a 6 month old Lab mix. She is yellow with short hair. She
is a people dog and loves to be around people. She is a loving girl and
will make a wonderful companion. She likes to walk and be right beside
of you. She is current on her shots and is ready for adoption. She will
make a great friend.
Sadie is a 1 year old Corgi mix. She is black, tan and white with short
hair. She is very friendly and playful. She is a short dog and is built
low to the ground. She walks well on a leash and could be easily
trainable. She is current on her shots and is ready for adoption. She
will make a great friend.
They also have a chocolate lab, a terrier, a chow mix, an American
Eskimo, a black and tan coondog, a couple lab mixes and numerous other
dogs as well as cats and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
It’s time to plan for their 3rd annual 5k run/walk for the dog park. It
will be Saturday April 9th at 9am at the Fairgrounds. You’re welcome to
bring your 4 legged friends and have some fun. They will also have a
BEST DRESSED DOG contest. You can preregister at gtraces.com. Their
sponsors are Matt, Angie and Bailey Arnold, Berry Family Dentistry,

Schultz Motors, Western Ohio Podiatric Medical Center, Arcanum

ALL DOGS OVER 3 MONTHS OF AGE MUST HAVE A LICENSE. You can get your
