MVCTC Seeks Hall of
Fame Inductees
Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) will be
inducting graduates into the Hall of Fame in October 2016. Graduates of
Montgomery County Joint Vocational School (MCJVS) or MVCTC are eligible
to be nominated if they graduated more than five years ago and if they
graduated in good standing from their home high school. Those nominated
are judged on significant contributions they have made to their
profession and to their communities by a first and second round panel
of judges. MCJVS or MVCTC graduates can be nominated by family,
employers, employees, teachers, or friends.
The Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in August and will be
inducted in to the Hall of Fame October 6, 2016. MVCTC currently has 69
outstanding members in its Hall of Fame whose names and photos are
etched in glass in the front hallway of the West Building. The school
traditionally inducts graduates into the Hall of Fame every five years.
The first induction ceremony was held in 1991 to celebrate the school’s
20th anniversary. This year marks MVCTC’s 45th year of providing
career-technical education to high school and adult students’
throughout the Miami Valley.

1, 2016.
For 45-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education for
27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest
Ohio. MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce
training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami
Valley.
