Women "Destination: Whitehouse" Tour Visits SE Ohio
COLUMBUS, OHIO – National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW)
leaders, including NFRW President Carrie Almond, and their red, white
and blue bus named “Rosie” rolled through Southeast Ohio on Saturday,
October 29, 2016.
Rosie's first stop was the Muskingum County Women's Republican Club
held at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds (1300 Pershing Rd.,
Zanesville, Ohio).
Hocking County Women's Republican Club hosted a visit by Rosie at the
Hocking County Republican Headquarters (169 E Main St, Logan, OH
43138).
Rosie's multi-state campaign tour of 11 swing states began on Mother's
Day in the Midwest. The mission of the NFRW "Destination: White House"
tour is to share the Republican message and to promote electing
Republicans--from the White House to the courthouse.
Founded in 1938, the NFRW (www.nfrw.org) proudly represents the party
that first made it possible for women to vote in the U.S. Today, the
NFRW works to increase the effectiveness and relevance of women in the
cause of good government. Our mission remains to recruit and elect
Republican candidates, promote the principles of the Republican Party,
educate the public and inform the media.
The Ohio Federation of Republican Women (OFRW), founded in 1929, is a
statewide organization of hundreds of members in constituent clubs. The
OFRW is a federated club of the National Federation of Republican
Women, providing political education, legislative information, and
wider knowledge of the principles of the Republican Party. It is
the largest, most powerful women’s political organization in Ohio and
provides the avenue for women to influence policy, develop candidates,
and elect the leaders of Ohio. The OFRW increases the number of
registered Republicans and promotes Republican candidates. It is a
multi-generational, multi-cultural organization that provides the
structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and
flourish. For more information, please visit: www.ohfrw.com
