May
wins big at The Great Darke County Fair
Alma May, a 17-year employee of Versailles Health Care Center, recently
won seven ribbons at The Great Darke County Fair in August! May,
from Versailles, received the Rosette First Place Blue Ribbon Award for
her Niagara grapes. She also received a Rosette Fourth Place
Yellow Ribbon Award for her “Freak of Nature” entry which was her
uniquely-shaped green peppers. May won three First Place Blue
Ribbon Awards for her onion yellow globe, Niagara grape, and tropic
cabbage. Finally, she won two Third Place White Ribbon Awards for
her butternut squash and California Wonder pepper.
Congratulations to Alma May from the patients, residents, and staff of
Versailles Health Care Center!
