of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Bill is a 5 year old male Mountain Curr. He loves everyone's attention,
loves the outdoors, and is neutered and current on his shots. He
appears to be good with other dogs also. Bill is waiting at the shelter
for his forever home.
Alvin is a 1 year old male Lab/Terrier Mix. He is very playful and has
a lot of energy, and loves attention. Alvin is looking for his forever
home.
Max is a one year old male Boxer Mix. He loves car rides, and is very
friendly and loves attention. Max will make someone a great companion.
This sweet boy is waiting for his forever home!
They also have several Lab Mixes, a Boxer Mix, Terrier Mix, Heeler Mix,
Coonhound Mix, and other dogs as well as cats and kittens ready
for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
2018 license can be purchased at the Auditor's Office or at the Darke
County Animal Shelter. 2018 license go on sale December 1, 2018 through
January 31, 2018. You can also get your license online at
www.doglicense.us/oh/darke. ALL DOGS OVER THE AGE OF 3 MONTHS, MUST
HAVE A LICENSE IN THE STATE OF OHIO (O.R.C 955.21).
