History
of Woodland Primary
By Caleb Maloon
GHS IMTV Reporter/Photographer
Woodland Heights (Woodland Primary) was built and first opened in 1956,
and the building had an addition built on sometime around 1970. While
it is seemingly somewhat difficult to find information on the history
of the building, I attended the school for grades Kindergarten through
2nd grade. The building was just recently closed in spite of the new
K-8 building which opened in January. Woodland will be demolished right
after the Junior High building.
From IMTV instructor Lori Hoover... "This project was designed by Caleb
Maloon. He is a freshman here at the high school. I have
his permission to share this great project. Caleb is an excellent
photographer and I think he has great potential."
