Fort
GreeneVille DAR dedicates Uniform Display Cases
There was a recent dedication for Phase 1 of the Uniform Display Cases
at the Veterans Building, Darke County Fairgrounds.
Fort GreeneVille Chapter dedicated Phase 1 of the uniform display cases
to ALL Darke County Veterans during the 2018 Great Darke County Fair.
The cases are located in the Veterans Building at Darke County
fairgrounds.
Fort GreeneVille Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution would
like to thank everyone for coming to this dedication. As a DAR chapter,
we are so appreciative of the historical preservation of the military
artifacts displayed in this building. Veterans such as Kenny
Preston, Dennis Dickey, Jim Kammer, Dean Delk and so many others
should be applauded in preserving the history of our local Veterans
throughout the years.
Phase 2 has begun on the backside of the main wall. It will display the
women’s section along with more cases for all other uniforms. All
donations and assistance is welcomed.
Thank you goes to all the donors that made this happen: Lowes,
