Editor’s Note: East
School Fourth Graders have been producing their own newspaper and, with
the permission of Teacher Edwinna Thomas, Principal Kitty Zumbrink and
Supt. Susan Riegle, they are now available to County News Online
readers. Check out the news being produced by the talented young
people. We have a lot to be proud of with our youth.

Award Ceremony

An Award Ceremony is going to be held at East School to give awards to
the kids who have done something special. The Award Ceremony was
started in May of 2011 by Mrs. Kitty to give positive recognition to
the students. The awards are made by Mrs. Shumaker.
“We hope to have the Award Ceremony at the end of each quarter,”
commented Miss Kitty. All of the awards are for good grades, turning in
homework, or having good attendance.
