Friends and Volunteer Carry-In Dinner
Don’t forget about the Christmas Carry-In Dinner! The dinner will
be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 6pm at Shawnee Prairie Preserve
Nature Center. Drinks and Service will be provided. All you
need to bring is a covered dish to share with all and a non-perishable
food item that will be donated to a local food pantry. “If you
have thought about volunteering and becoming a Friend of the Darke
County Parks, this is an excellent time to meet other volunteers and
begin to share in the excitement of Darke County Parks upcoming 40th
anniversary,” Park Director Roger Van Frank stated. So join us
for an evening of Friends and a holiday game.
