Darke
County Parks…
Hike to Health
Continues this Summer
The weather is finally warming up, so it is the perfect time to get a
free workout in. The Darke County Park District is continuing the
successful Hike to Health series with 6 more hikes this summer.
We will be hitting some different parks and going back to our favorites
from the spring. The first hike in June was held Thursday, June
2nd at 7pm at Coppess Nature Sanctuary. The second hike will be
held Saturday, June 11th at 10am at Shawnee Prairie Preserve.
Each hike will be at your own brisk pace. Since the weather is
heating up, don’t forget to wear light weight clothing and bring plenty
of water. If you attend all 6 hikes, you will receive an
award! Check out the Nature Notes for more summer hikes or visit
our website at www.darkecountyparks.org.
