The Gathering at
Garst Will Feature Gardeners
Among the exhibitors at the new summer event planned for July 30 and
31, 2011 at Garst Museum in Greenville, Ohio will be garden vendors and
designers who are experts at making a garden exciting.
Pictured are Katie Gabbard and Jenny Clark from The Ivy League Florist
on Broadway in Greenville, Ohio. They are specialists in creating
unique and delightful floral arrangements that are guaranteed to make
you and your guests smile. The Ivy League will be one of several garden
vendors available to visitors who attend The Gathering at Garst.
The Gathering at Garst: A Garden of Antiques and Art, will feature
vendors in the following categories; artists, antique vendors, skilled
historical craftsmen, primitive folk-artists, garden exhibitors,
farmers market and specialty vendors, and food vendors.
It is the mission of The Gathering at Garst to promote awareness and
appreciation of those who made unique contributions to the culture of
Darke County and to celebrate its local heritage in a family-oriented
and educational atmosphere.
Public admission to The Gathering at Garst is free. All celebration
proceeds will benefit the Garst Museum.
Event hours will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 30 and
from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 31. Vendor set up will be on
Friday, July 29 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm
