Get acquainted with Photoshop
Have you ever wanted to know how to “fix” a photo?
Edison Community College is offering a 3-hour Introductory Course to
Photoshop Basics on Thursday, June 16, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Learn how to resize photos but still maintain quality; remove
“red-eye;” clean up lint spots, tears and other blemishes in scanned
photos; alter or remove backgrounds and create graphic images and other
special effects.
Photoshop is the industry standard for digital editing of photographs
and other graphics. While the full version can be expensive ($500 or
more), a basic one called Photoshop Elements can be purchased for as
little as $50. Versions are available for both Mac and PC.
The course is offered by Edison Community College’s Business &
Industry Center. The cost is $45 and is taught by County News Online
Editor Bob Robinson. To register, contact Helen Willcox at 937-778-7864
or HWillcox@edisonohio.edu
