Leadership Program
Bob Farmer, a five-year member of the Greenville Toastmasters Club,
will present a ninety-minute leadership program entitled
Characteristics of Effective Leaders on Wednesday, June 29 at 7:00 in
Chestnut Hall located inside the Chestnut Village Center in the
Brethren Retirement Community.
Bob Farmer has earned his Advanced Communications Silver Award and will
soon earn his Competent Leadership Award. He has served a number
of leadership roles including Vice-President of Education,
Vice-President of Membership, and President.
The leadership program will define the qualities that determine
effective leaders and help participants identify their own leadership
style and determine a team’s leadership needs.
The Greenville Toastmasters Club is a local chapter of Toastmasters
International. This local non-profit organization gives
individuals the opportunity to improve communication and leadership
skills through club meetings and training seminars. Success and
leadership programs such as the one Farmer will present, are
outstanding sessions for community and corporate groups.
Participants will receive a workbook, a certificate of participation,
and light refreshment. There is no fee for the class.
