Volunteerism Conference, March 16
Volunteer connector organizations across the state are engaging
thousands of Ohioans every day in service to their community!
Ohio citizens are giving of their time, energy, and talents generously,
yet our neighbors, friends, peers, and colleagues continue to face
significant challenges meeting their everyday needs.
Please join us on March 16, 2011 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square for an
invigorating and collaborative discussion that will focus on: (1)
strengthening collaborations of organizations/programs to develop
stronger networks that will help solve challenges facing Ohioans
through the engagement of volunteers; and (2) review recommendations
that have been previously developed and/or shared by stakeholder groups
and identify strategies to operationalize those as appropriate.
Now is the time to act! We must come together as volunteer
connector organizations to identify and operationalize strategies on
how we can work together more effectively to meet the growing needs in
Ohio. If you are a volunteer resource manager, leader of volunteer
engagement in government, higher education, or community organization,
we want your active involvement in this conversation! RSVP below.
