Senior Scribes to
hold Spring Fling

“We’ve had such great attendance the past two years that we hope to
really break records this year with our ‘50s/’60s theme.” stated Karen
Baker, chairlady of the Senior Scribe’s Spring Fling event.
The Fling will be held from 6-10 p.m. on May 21, at the Lighthouse
Christian Center, 5256 Sebring-Warner Road, Greenville. There will be
food, dancing and LOTS of prizes. Each attendee will receive a
commemorative photo. If you would like to dress in ‘50s/’60s attire,
please do so – however, it is not required.
Pre-purchase ticket price is $9 each person or $15 for any two people.

The event is a fund raiser for the Senior Scribes’ scholarship program.
The Scholarship Fund recently awarded five $1,000 scholarships to Darke
County Students. Recipients were Jessica Barga, Kent Holmes, Simon
Hoying, Margaret Prakel and Kayla LeMar.
