Business Lending Seminar
Informational forum set to include
experts from private and public sectors
November 3, 2011
COLUMBUS
– State Senator Bill Beagle
(R – Tipp City), along with Sinclair Community College, will be
sponsoring a
Small Business Lending Seminar on Monday, December 5.
The free seminar will take place in the
Frederick C. Smith Auditorium on the Sinclair campus and is geared for
small
business owners throughout the Dayton region.
The
event will connect small business
owners with experts in the field of small business lending so that area
businesses gain the proper knowledge to thrive in the current economy. Attendees will have the
opportunity to gain
insight on the small business lending process so that they will be
prepared in
case they one day have to apply for a loan.
“I
have both owned and operated a
small business, and I know just how difficult it is to prepare for the
unexpected,” said Beagle. “The information we hope to provide at this
forum
will help our community’s small business owners to better understand
things
such as risk evaluation and credit scores.”
Representatives
from Huntington Bank,
JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, US Bank, Key Bank, and Fifth/Third Bank will
be in
attendance, as well as personnel from the Small Business Administration
and the
Ohio Department of Development.
