3 - Ladies Night Out. Enjoy a
relaxing evening and holiday open house at The Bistro Off Broadway from
6:00 to
8:00 pm. Begin your holiday shopping in a no stress setting, and treat
yourself
to something special. Enjoy chair massage, reflexology, makeover, learn
how to
preserve memories, learn a few new cooking tips, get organized, bring a
new
fall fragrance to your home, shop for educational books and toys and
learn the
steps to healthier living. Admission is a non-perishable food item that
will be

3 - Woodland Survival Series
Part One: Fire-starting. Not long ago, people knew what to do when an
impromptu
overnight in the wilderness occurred. Today, these basic skills are
lost to
much of society. Learn the art of fire starting (without matches). This
program
will be heavily hands-on and will take place rain or shine. Fee $15.

4 & 5 - Holiday Open
House at The Winery at Versailles. Get a jump start on your Holiday
shopping at
The Winery at Versailles during this holiday open house. The bar and

Tasting and Dinner.

12 - Tan Yer Hide. Join a
couple of wandering Longhunters as they use the pioneer method of
brain-tanning
a hide. This will be a hands-on (and a bit messy) program that will get
you the
experience you need to tan your own hides. The program will take place
in and
outside the Log House at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, so dress for the
weather.

17, 18 & 19 - Downtown
Greenville Holiday Open House. It’s the holiday season, which means
it’s time
to shop! Merchants in downtown Greenville open their doors and extend
their
hours just for you. For more information, check out their Facebook

Street Greenville.

19 - Hometown Holiday Horse
Parade. Greenville will again host a lighted, horse-drawn carriage
parade
through the streets of Historic downtown Greenville at 7:00 pm on
Saturday,
November 19. Bring the entire family to enjoy this event and see Santa
Claus
come to town! The parade will include carolers, bands, bell choirs and
lighted
carriages pulled by horses.
