CAP sponsors Rockin’
BOO-gity Bowling Party
Darke County United Way Benefit
Community Action Partnership of Greater Dayton Area – Darke County is
announcing a Rockin’ BOO-gity Bowling Party on October 22, from 7:00 to
9:30 pm at the New Treaty Lanes in Greenville. Tickets may be purchased
at the CAP office, 1469 Sweitzer St., 548-8143 and United Way office,
207 E. Fourth St., 547-1272.
Carol Littman, Office Manager at CAP, said, “We want everyone to come
out and have a good time. We’ll have music, door prizes and lots of
fun! Kids 8 and under are free! Tickets are just $20.00 each, with shoe
rental included. We plan to have a howlin’ good time.” She went on to
say that the money CAP receives from United Way assists with Senior
Service, Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Homemaker Services,
Medical/General Transportation, Bridge the Gap funds, Darke Co.
Emergency Homeless Shelter, and Supportive Housing.
Carol added, “These are all very important services we provide and we
really hope everyone will come out to bowl and help us help others!”
