September 11 Ceremony and Parade
9/11 Parade Committee...
On September 2, 2011 at 8:30 AM in the Darke County Commissioner’s
Conference Room a joint Proclamation was signed by the Darke County
Board of Commissioners and Mayor Bowers of the City of Greenville in
Honor of the 10th Anniversary of September 11th, 2001.
Present were 9/11 Parade Committee members who will make the following
announcement and wish to publicly inform the community of the events
planned for Sunday September 11, 2011 in the City of Greenville.
The Citizens of Darke County and Surrounding Communities are cordially
invited to attend a Ceremony and Parade in Honor of the 10th
Anniversary of September 11th, 2001. We will honor those who lost their
lives on that tragic day and those who continue to make sacrifices to
fight and preserve our freedom and protect the citizens of this great
Nation.
