Rotary
4-Way Speech Competition

The
Greenville Rotary Club and the Versailles Rotary Club will be
conducting their
annual 4-Way Speech competition in the near future, and invite area
high school
students to participate. The
content for
the speech is to be centered around Leadership, Service and the Rotary
Four Way
Test: Is it the TRUTH? Is
it FAIR to all
concerned? Will it
build GOODWILL and
BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will
it be BENEFICIAL
to all concerned? The
speeches are to be
4 to 6 minutes in length and delivered without the aid of podium,
notes,
displays or props.
Students
from Greenville, Arcanum, Tri-Village and Franklin Monroe will
participate in
the local competition conducted by the Greenville Rotary Club and
students from
Versailles, Bradford, Ansonia, Mississinawa and Russia will participate
in the
local competition conducted by the Versailles Rotary Club. Finalists from the local
competitions will
receive cash prizes and the winners will then compete at the Rotary
District
competition on April 15th at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH
for cash
prizes ranging from $100 to $400.

are
