Auxiliaries are hosting a patriotic open house July 22 

GREENVILLE - The Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 140 with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 7262 are hosting a patriotic open house from 2 to 4 p.m. July 22. A ceremony and presentation of the Gold Star Mothers Service Flag in memory of William L. “Bub” McDaniel II, Master Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force Pararescue, will be held at 3 p.m. The keynote speaker will be from the Blue Star Mothers of America organization. 

Darke County citizens and dignitaries will be honoring Gold Star Mothers, those who have sacrificed a beloved child to the cause of liberty and freedom for the United States of America. 

The event will be held at the American Legion Post hall, 325 N. Ohio St., Greenville.
