Chamber Ag Day is
March 16
Darke County Chamber of Commerce
GREENVILLE, OH –On March 16th the Darke County Chamber of Commerce will
host Chamber Ag Day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Romer’s Catering in
Greenville.
The Darke County Soil and Water is sponsoring a free “Soil Science”
Workshop by George Derringer, NRCS Soil Scientist at the 9:30 a.m.
workshop. The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) is sponsoring
the luncheon speaker, Dale Arnold, at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Arnold is
the Director of Energy Services at the OFBF. His program topic is
Oil and Gas Development: We Have the Answers; It’s the Questions
We Don’t Know Yet. A 1:45 p.m. workshop with Mr. Arnold will
include further information and discussion of the issues.
The workshops at 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. are free of charge. The
luncheon and program require a reservation and the cost is $15. The
information provided throughout the day will assist attendees in
becoming better informed of what is happening in our backyard and
Ohio.
Chamber Ag Day also includes exhibits from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that
feature local businesses that support Agriculture in Darke
