Darke
County Center for the arts will present
folk, pop, and jazz musician Jonathan Kingham at The Coffee Pot in
downtown
Greenville on Thursday, November 15. The third of DCCA's Coffeehouse
Series
presentations, the show begins at 7:00 p.m. “Jonathan is a rising star
whose
songs have won international songwriting contests and whose singing has
been
featured in many movies and TV shows,” said DCCA Artistic Director
Keith
Rawlins. “His dazzling guitar work perfectly complements his passionate
yet
mellow singing voice, and his thought-provoking lyrics move and delight
audiences of all ages,” Rawlins stated.
DCCA's
Coffeehouse Series offers high-quality
professional musicians in an accessibly comfortable social atmosphere
where
food and drink are also available. “Jonathan Kingham's quick freestyle
wit will
be a perfect fit for the casual, intimate Coffeehouse Series which
allows for
frequent interaction between artist and audience,” Rawlins explained.
The
Coffeehouse Series is sponsored by Julie
and Thomas H. Graber, II, Eileen and Steve Litchfield, and Rodney
Oda. Darke County Center for the Arts also receives support
from local
businesses, foundations, and the Ohio Arts Council, which helped fund
this
program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth,
educational
excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.

for the Jonathan Kingham concert are

Tickets will also be available at the door. Kingham will also be
presenting
songwriting workshops at local high schools from November 12 through
15; these
