Darke County
Center for the Arts
Marty
Stuart Concert sponsored by Bistro Off Broadway
Ted and Diana
Abney, owners of The Bistro Off Broadway, have
donated funds to Darke County Center for the Arts, sponsoring a country
music
performance by Grand Ole Opry star Marty Stuart and his band The
Fabulous
Superlatives at St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville on Saturday,
November 10,
8:00 pm. According
DCCA’s Artistic
Director Keith Rawlins, “The
Abney’s are
a great example of strong community supporters; they not only
strengthen
downtown Greenville by providing a full service restaurant but also
enhance the
quality of life in our community by supporting the performing arts and
making
it possible for DCCA to present high quality artists at a reasonable
ticket
price.”
A free and
open-to-the-public 30-minute pre-show discussion
will start at at 7 PM, also at St. Clair Memorial Hall.
Marty Stuart's Manager/Agent Bobby Roberts,
will share from his experiences on the importance and impact of music
in the
classroom as well as his perspective on the entertainment
business. This
engagement is supported by the Arts
Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest, which is generously
supported
by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions
from the Ohio Arts Council.
Tickets
are not required for the pre-show discussion.
Tickets to the 8
pm concert are $30 for adults, $15 for students.
All seats are reserved and according to a
DCCA representative, there are still a few seats available. Advance orders are
strongly suggested,
