Darke GOP Women to hold ‘October
Occasion’

“We are going to
have
some really great items on our silent auction, everything from antique
dishes
to Republican pasta.” said Ways and Means Chairlady Kay Seiler of the
upcoming
October Occasion.
The Darke County
Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) will be hosting a social event and is
inviting
and encouraging the public to attend. The October Occasion will include
a style
show, silent auction and reception featuring a chocolate fountain and
light
hors’ de oeuvres. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m., October 8, at
the
Chestnut Village Center of the Brethren Home Retirement Community.
Styles from
Youniques
will be featured. Club members who will be modeling are: Diane
Delaplane, Pat
Faulkner, Betsy Irwin, Mary Gray Kinnison, Jo Ellen Melling, and Cindy
Pike.
“We will be
highlighting
items that are made in the USA.” said Lelah Shoop, co-owner of
Youniques.
Admission will be
$5 and
include access to all activities. Reservations are required and can be
made
