Tri-County
Board Executive
Director Mark McDaniel emphasizes that, even after formal approval,
the Strategic Plan will remain a living, working document, adaptable
to a changing environment. The Strategic Plan is the principal guide
for the Board in its efforts to ensure access to mental health and
recovery services in the Tri-County area.
The 2014-2016
Strategic
Plan uses as a template a white paper published by the Substance
Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) titled
"Description of a Good and Modern Addictions and Mental Health
Service System." The white paper describes the components and
relationships of an integrated, effective and efficient mental health
and addiction services network.
The
Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services is a public
organization responsible for planning, funding, monitoring and
evaluating mental health and recovery services in Darke, Miami and
Shelby counties.
