Extension: Dining with Diabetes
If
you have diabetes, if you have a family
member with diabetes or if you support and care for someone with
diabetes, you
will want to enroll in Dining with Diabetes, an
educational class designed
to help you learn to reduce sugar, salt and fat in food and better
control
blood sugar.
Dining
with Diabetes will be offered on
Wednesday, April 3rd, 10th, and April 17th, at the OSU Extension
Learning
Center, 603 Wagner Avenue, Greenville, Ohio. The class fee is
$25.00,
which covers the food for demonstration and tasting, recipe booklets
and other
educational materials. Pre-registration and payment are
required.
The deadline is March 28, 2013.
Instructors
for the course are Diane Barga,
Program Coordinator, Ohio State University Extension, and Karen
Droesch,
Diabetes Educator, Wayne Health Care.
