WIPEOUT – LIVE Theatre – THIS Friday
& Saturday!
WIPEOUT will be presented on February 8th & 9th , 7:00
pm at the Greenville Lighthouse Christian by our very own Greenville
Jr. High Students! This lively musical includes over 30 students and
two adult actors singing through a silly story that will keep your toes
tapping!
Lots of hard work has gone into this year’s production! Due to the
closure of Memorial Hall this year’s show had to be relocated to
Lighthouse Christian Center. A big thank you goes out to the
Lighthouse Christian Center for the use of their facility this week!
The NEW location is directly off Sebring Warner Road near the
intersection of 127- you can see the facility from the
highway!
“Theatre is a lot of fun! It’s a lot of hard work and the outcome
WILL BE great! Theatre is a great way to express your creative side”,
says Kassidy York, second year Theatre member. Allison Baughman
shared,” Being on stage is way harder than it looks!”
Wipeout is set in the early 1960’s on a beach in California. The root
of the problem is the local surf shop is set to sell their business to
a ruthless business man so he is able to turn the beach into a parking
lot. There are two groups of kids that hang on the beach, the
Cove Kids and the Avalon Kids. One group wants to save the beach
and the other wants their part of the money pie!
Everyone is invited to WIPEOUT – February 8th and 9th 7pm, Lighthouse
Christian Center, in Greenville. Don’t miss the great opportunity
for an evening of light entertainment and
fun. Presale tickets are available
for $4.00 each see any theatre student or email
tmartin@greenville.k12.oh.us. Tickets will be available for
$5.00 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm! Special Thanks to Lighthouse
Christian, H.S Theatre, Mr. Raby and his Woodshop class for the surf
boards! We hope to see you all at the beach!
