Matt Light teams up with Greenville
Schools
GREENVILLE – Every community would
love to have a "hometown hero" like Greenville has in Matt Light! He
is much more than a recently retired NFL New England Patriots offensive tackle and
a football legend with three Super Bowl wins. Matt is a Greenville High School
graduate who also never forgot where he came from. He's a busy community leader
who is committed to helping to educate the public about the urgent and real
need for a district-wide fix for Greenville's School District.
On Aug. 5, Matt will be teaming up
with the Greenville Strong Committee, School Administration, and Board of
Education at "his place,” Chenoweth Trails, at Greenville Nashville Road,
Greenville, OH 45331.
This event begins at 6 p.m. with a
cookout, live music, raffles, silent and live auctions and some important facts
from Matt and Greenville Strong team, to educate voters before they head to the
polls the next day. Guests are encouraged to walk the trails; dress for the
outdoors and bring your chairs. The event continues until 9 p.m. In the event
of inclement weather, this event will be moved to Greenville Senior High
School.
This free family fun event is open
to residents in the Greenville School District. Tickets are required and
numbered and can be reserved by emailing greenvillestrong@gmail.com or calling
423-1447.
