young women will be
‘shooting it out’ starting July 24 as each seeks to be tapped Miss
Annie Oakley
2013. A practice session will begin 6 p.m. July 23; first round
eliminations
will take place July 24 with the winner earning the honor July 25. Miss
Annie
Oakley 2012 Elisabeth Harless will be doing the honors for her
successor. The

The
Miss Annie Oakley competition
dates back to 1966. In addition to Harless, recent markswomen include
Laura
Francis, Ruby Jo Wells and Jenna Dowler. Harless was the lone
contestant
standing in 2012 at 105 feet.
