Darke County
Friends of the Shelter
Grand
Opening
Scentral (Dog) Park
The
Darke County
Friends of the Shelter will be hosting the Grand Opening of the new
Darke
County Dog Park “Scentral Park” (County Home Rd., beyond the Sheriff's
Dept.)
on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
After
over a year
of planning, fund raising and construction, “Scentral Park” can finally
and
officially be opened to the public. In collaboration with the Darke
County
Commissioners, the Darke County Animal Shelter and the Darke County
Friends of
Shelter, “Scentral Park” will be opening Saturday, March 23, 2013 at
1:00 PM
during a Grand Opening Ceremony.
The
realization
of this big project would not have been possible without the help and
donations
of local businesses and private donors. Every single Dollar helped to
accomplish the goal of building a dog park. It was a community effort:
for the
community by the community and the Darke County Friends of the Shelter
want to
thank everyone who helped make it a reality, among others:
