The Bradford area business are coming together to help the Bradford
Ohio Railroad Museum celebrate the Christmas Holiday Season. The
project is Trim a Tree for the Museum. The funds will be used toward
the renovation of the basement for the children’s interactive learning
center. The museum is planning to do the renovation between January and
April when the museum is closed for the winter so it will be ready for
the 2014 season that begins in April.
Local Bradford area business are trimming table trees that will be
silent bid awarded to the highest bidder and ready for pick up at the
museum December 14 when Santa visits the museum.
Area business that are participating in the first Annual Trim a
Tree for the Museum are Littman Thomas Insurance Agency,
Greenville National Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Marshall’s Shell Service
Station, Teresa’s Beauty Salon, Village Pizza, Clarks’ Pizza, Weldy’s
Dairy Bar, Train Stop, Covington Savings and Loan, Mark Hill Tatoos and
the Bradford Garden Club, Rich’s Gas Station, Above and Beyond Salon.
The trees will be on display at the museum for silent bids. They will
also be first available for bids at the Bradford Craft Show. Some trees
are being decorated in the theme of the business so the public is
invited to participate in this project to promote the area business and
help make the Children’s Center a reality.
The museum is open Saturday 10 am- 1pm and Sunday 1- 4 pm. The museum
will be decorated for the Christmas the entire month of December. The
Bradford Garden Club is helping with the decorating this year, so
please add a visit to the museum this holiday season.
