Prairie Days Entertainment
Looking for some great,
free entertainment? Prairie Days has a full schedule of entertainers
on their outdoor stage. The festival runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
on Saturday, September 28th and from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday,
September 29th. The Darke County Civic Theatre will have 3
performances throughout the weekend, 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Saturday
and 3:00 pm on Sunday. The title of this year’s Prairie Days
Melodrama is “In Search of the Holy Grill” by Craig Williams and
is produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company.
The show is fun, with lots of laughs for all ages. Saturday at
1:00pm delight in a concert from the Thien Snipps. Also onstage on
Saturday at 4:00 pm, you will hear the “Truest Lies Ever Told” by
a traveling longhunter. This professional storyteller has a story
that everyone in the family will enjoy. The stage is jam packed on
Sunday as well! At 12:00 pm, Silver Grass Band will play followed
by Todd Oakes. The music of Todd Oakes has been described as simply
original, earth acoustic folk music. All of these performances are
