Early Morning Discovery
Hikes Start at 8:00am
After the winter we’ve
had, it’s hard not to wake up happy on a spring morning! So why
not head out for a hike? Every Tuesday morning at 8:00 am, the Darke
County Park District hosts an Early Morning Discovery Hike. These
hikes focus on birdwatching, trees, fungi, wildflower ID and more.
Bring binoculars or borrow a pair from us. Meet at the Nature Center
at Shawnee Prairie Preserve (4267 St. Rt. 502 West) each and every
Tuesday. Be sure to dress for the weather as the hikes will take
place rain or shine. For more information on this and other
programs, call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165 or visit our website
at www.darkecountyparks.org
We hope to see YOU out on the trails!
