We
the People
February
14th &15th!
Every
year the Greenville Junior High Theatre Workshop troupe diligently
works to present an exciting performance for the community. This
year is even better than years past. You are cordially invited to a
PATRIOTIC theatrical performance of WE THE PEOPLE! While learning
the basics of all facets of theatre production the students work
alongside Director, Tory Martin and Assistant Caleb Custer to bring
to life an amazing portrayal of our American Heritage. This year’s
show is titled WE THE PEOPLE and the students proudly invite YOU to
attend.
A
Patriotic themed production full of short vignettes tell the tale of
our founding fathers, the story of our Constitution and the Bill of
Rights. The show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 14th
and 15th. Truly a show of what America was and is today, this
production involves 20 plus dedicated students, numerous Junior High
Educators along with several volunteers.
The
show kicked off before Thanksgiving with auditions and has been
running practices every day after school. The students participate
in the set design, produce choreography and even manage ticket sales.
This is truly an experience where the students must learn to work
together to bring an amazing final product to the stage. This year's
production has been in high gear and even with all of the snow delays
and closings the students are ready to sing your socks off!
Come
and witness the future of America presenting the story of America in
the beginning and through the ages. A huge American Flag drapes the
stage and the show boasts an amazing visual tribute to those lost in
9/11.
