T-V BackPack Program to hold fundraiser

The Feed the Hungry Children Backpack Program will be holding a fundraiser Sat. Feb. 8 from 3 to 5:45 p.m. between the Tri-Village High School girls and boys basketball games. The girls play Ft. Recovery at 1 p.m. The boys play New Bremen at 6 p.m.

The volunteers will be offering a Chili Supper for $5. Available are chili with crackers or loaded chili, shredded chicken sandwich or hot dog sandwich, cookies/brownies and coffee/lemonade. Individual options will be available.

All proceeds fund the backpacks of food that we send home every Friday with students attending Tri-Village who do not have enough to eat on weekends. Photos show volunteers packing a month’s worth of food.
