Free Movies at Library

The Greenville Public Library offers free movies every month open to the public. All Friday shows start at 3:00 p.m. and all Saturday shows at 1:00 p.m. Here is the schedule through May: Friday March 14 – Austenland; Saturday March 22 – The Book Thief; Friday April 11 – Saving Mr. Banks; Saturday April 26 – Catching Fire; Friday May 9 – Philomena; Saturday May 24 – The Hobbit.

In conjunction with the Adult Summer Reading Program, Literary Elements, the Library will be showing classic movies in June and July. Patron participation is asked for! Soon “you pick the classics” will appear on the Library's Facebook page. Summer dates are: Friday June 13, Saturday June 21, Saturday July 19, and Friday July 25. All movies are shown in the upstairs Meeting Room with comfortable seating, the big-screen TV, surroundsound, and any snacks you may bring!
