with hayrides on the prairie, corn mazes on the farm, history &
heritage with the parks, community festivals, gathering of artists,

We invite you to join in the celebration of the grand opening of The
New Welcome Center for Darke County. Stop by tomorrow evening from 6:00
to 9:00 pm at 421 S. Broadway, Greenville. We are located next door to
The KitchenAid Experience Retail Center. Friday is also First Friday in
downtown Greenville. Enjoy The Artisan Stroll with more than 40
artists, demonstrations, family-friendly activities and musical
entertainment.

Legendary Fall Open House at Bear's Mill - On Saturday & Sunday,
October 4 & 5 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Historic Bear's Mill will
be transformed into the ideal autumn setting for a harvest festival
featuring live music, fall sweets, grinding demonstrations, painting
& sculpture displays, bonfire, duck decoy carvings and must have
treats and gifts in the Mill Store & Gallery. Admission and parking

Downing's Annual Harvest Festival - On Saturday & Sunday, October 4
& 5 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides
through the orchard; find Autumn decorations for the home including
pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, and squash and delicious Fall treats
apples, cider, apple butter, honey, caramel apples, apple dumplings and
sandwiches during Downing's Annual Harvest Festival. Admission and
parking are free.

Always good things to eat and fun things to do at this family-owned
farm located just outside of Arcanum. Bring the entire family to enjoy
hayrides, corn maze, pumpkin patch, monster mountain and other fun
activities. Admission: $8 per person. Those ages 3 and under, and 65
and older are admitted at no charge.

Blacksmith Shop Open at Shawnee Prairie
October 4, 11 & 25
1 - 4 pmEvery Saturday in October, travel back to the 18th century to
explore the Blacksmith Shop at Shawnee Prairie Preserve. The sound of
hammers and anvil will be ringing as the smiths prepare new material
