Vacation Bible
School at Chenoweth Trails
A summer outing in the woods, vacation Bible school, campfire and
s’mores, worship service in God’s great outdoors! The visions
these words bring to mind will be part of the retreat at Chenoweth
Trails the weekend of August 29 and 30, planned by First Presbyterian
Church.
“Getting Back on Track” is the theme of the weekend, designed to give
participant a time to reflect, to have fellowship with others, a time
free from the “merry-go-round” of everyday life. Hiking, fishing,
swimming, corn hole, board games and cards, volleyball, kickball and
Frisbee are a few of the possibilities for renewing the
soul.
Vacation Bible School will be part of the weekend but children under 18
must be accompanied by an adult. Yurts to provide sleeping along
with hot showers brings a little civilization to this beautiful wooded
area. Recreation vehicles may be used for overnight, but
electricity and water hook up are not available. A primitive tent
camping area is also available.
For more information about this outing, call the church office at
937.548.3188.
