Crop Conference Feb. 2

Ohio State University Extension will hold the Southwestern Ohio Fruit,
Vegetable and Specialty Crop Conference on February 2, 2016 at the
Oasis Conference Center in Loveland, Ohio. OSU Extension has organized
a grower school for more than 30 years in Southwestern Ohio, but this
conference will be different and bigger than in the past. The location
was changed to a conference center, which allows us the space to offer
more class options, including sessions on fruit, vegetables,
greenhouses, specialty crops and marketing.
Pesticide applicator credits will be available for Core, Category 3 and
Category 5. A fertilizer certification class focused on fruit &
vegetable production will also be offered. The early registration
deadline is January 23rd and the cost is $50, which includes a
continental breakfast, buffet lunch and a USB memory stick containing
all of the available handouts. Online registration is available at
