New STNA course
to begin Feb. 23
Darke County Workforce Development and the Greenville CTEC have
announced that their next State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) course
will begin on February 23, 2015.
According to program coordinator Emily Powers, “STNA graduates are in
high demand. A very high percentage of our students pass the
State Test on the first try and our job placement rate is nearly 100%.”
The course will run through March 13th with classes being held Monday
through Thursday from 3:30 – 9:00 pm at the Career Tech Center, 100
Green Wave Way in Greenville. Clinicals are held during daytime
hours on March 10th and 12th at sponsoring health care
providers.
The cost for the program is $575.00. The fee for the State Test
is $100.00.
Job placement services available to all graduates. Financial assistance
may be available for qualified students.
