“Herbal
Reflections” coming soon
February 21, The Olde Thyme Gardeners present their annual Spring
Workshop, "Herbal Reflections." The half day program begins at
10:00 a.m. in the Nature Center at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, 4267 Route
502 near Greenville.
Learn more about successful growing of herbs and what to do with them
from Mary Hofacker of the Preble County Herb Society. She will provide
samples of herbed butter, crostini, soup and cookies.
Popular speaker, Charlie Cressell, returns to share more of his
techniques for great organic gardening. He is an organic master
gardener who does business at various farmer's markets.
Due by February 17, preregistration of $15.00 includes door prizes herb
tastings etc. Coffee and snacks will be available.
A downloadable registration form is on oldethymegarden.blogspot.com or
at most local public libraries. Mail it to Olde Thyme Gardeners, PO Box
74, Greenville, OH 45331. Or simply mail your name, address and phone
number along with a check to that address. The park office is not
handling registrations. Walk-ins are welcome at $20.00 per
