First Author’s Night
The Friends of the Greenville Public Library begin the 2015 Author’s
Night season with internationally known and award-winning writer John
Scalzi on Friday January 23rd at Montage Cafe in downtown
Greenville. Doors open at 6:00 and the program at 7:00.
Come early and enjoy supper, snacks, or a glass of wine while grooving
to the music by R.J. Price and Bill Westfall.
Hosting John is a special treat and honor for Author’s Night
fans! John is best known for writing science fiction, including
the New York Times bestseller "Redshirts," which won the Hugo Award for
Best Novel, and for the “Old Man’s War” series. He also writes
non-fiction on subjects ranging from personal finance to astronomy to
film and was the Creative Consultant for the Stargate: Universe
television series.
