Seating Auction Update
Midwest Auctioneers will be accepting online bids beginning May 13 if
you would like to purchase a seat or a row of seats. Mike Baker, of the
auctioneering service, encouraged persons who have sponsored a seat to
make a bid and take their seat(s) home. They have a complete list of
sponsored seats and will make every effort to ensure that the person
has the opportunity to retain their seat.
The seats WILL NOT be sold in a live auction. This is an online auction
only. There will be a minimum bid and the auction is expected to end on
June 1. A link to the auction site can be found at

Baker understands there are some persons who aren't comfortable bidding
online and his staff will make arrangements to assist anyone who needs
help. You can call his office, 548-2640, or stop into Midwest
Auctioneers & Realty, 220 E. Fourth St., Greenville, and the staff
will assist you in making a bid. He will also have a person available
during the Greenville City Schools Surplus Auction on May 28, 4 p.m.,
in the Greenville High School Cafeteria, to assist persons wanting to
bid on the seats.
Day and time to pick up the seats will be announced later.
