Director Search Begins for Darke County Visitors Bureau

The Board of Trustees of the Darke County Visitors Bureau have begun a
search for the next executive director of the organization. Current
director, Deanna York is leaving in June after 15 years of service. The

The ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing,
Tourism / Hospitality, Communications, or related field. In addition,
they will have two to five years minimum experience in tourism,
hospitality, marketing, promotion, communication, or related field.
They must pass a Background Investigation and Drug Screening test, as
well as show proof of a current and valid Ohio Drivers’ License. This
is a salaried position with benefits commensurate with experience and
education. Benefits currently do not include any hospitalization
package, but the candidate once hired will need to show proof of
hospitalization. Candidate will serve a probationary period, not to
exceed 120 days.
