volunteer!

and keeps our parks beautiful! Tell us what park you want to
adopt and which week of the month you want to monitor it. Report
back to us regarding vandalism, fallen trees and pick up any trash.
Special Opportunities
Bike Trail Work Days - Assistance is needed nearly every day to clear
brush and cut down trees. If you have your own chainsaw,
perfect! If you do not but want to use one of ours you will be
required to wear protective clothing.
Prairie Burning - dates for these burns will be flexible, as the
process is weather dependent. Please let me know if you would
like to be added to the list to be contacted.
Ongoing Opportunities
Animal Care - Feeding animals, cleaning enclosures, checking animal
health
Front Desk Receptionist - greet visitors, gift shop, answer phone calls
If you want to assist with any of the above items, please reply to this
email, call or stop by the park. We appreciate your support of
the Darke County Park District!
